6 Maintenance and Troubleshooting

6.1.2 Fan Maintenance

The inverter has build-in fans to cool during operation. If the fan does not work properly, then the
inverter does not cool effectively, that the inverter's efficiency may be affected or cause derating.
Therefore, it is necessary to keep the fan clean and replace the damaged fan in time. The cleaning and
replacement steps of the fan are as follows.
Step 1 Disconnect the AC switch.
Step 2 Rotate the DC switch to the "OFF" position and disconnect all PV string input.
Step 3 Wait at least 20 minutes.
Step 4 Disconnect all electrical connections.
Step 5 Dismantle the cover plate, as shown in Figure6-1.

Step 6 Disconnect the connector connected with fan, as shown in Figure6-2.
