• Connections using LLiNK (DV) cable
You can connect this camcorder to video equipment with a DV terminal using an L LINK (DVj cable (sold sepa¬
rately) for dubbing. There 'wiil be minimal deterioration ofVdeo and audio, since the digital signal Is transferred.

Note: Reduce the volume of the camcorder as
lovy as possible during dubbing. Otherwise the
played back pictures could be distorted.
INIofe: Only one device can be connected to
your camcorder using an I.LINK (DV) cable.
IMofe: During digital dubbing/editing,, color
unevenness may occur in the image that
appears on the monitor screem, but this will not
affect the dubbed image.
Note: Recording a playback pause image
through the DV terminal will result in a rough
picture, And if the still picture is played on your
carncorcier, it may be blurred,
Mote: The analog signal input to the camcorder w4il
have some distortion; It will not be normally con¬
verted to a digital signal even if the displayed pic¬
ture on the TV screen is not noticeably distorted.
Mote: A copy-guarded image cannot be record¬
ed on this camcorder.
Mote: You can switch the AUDIO MODE between
16BIT and 12 BIT using the menu screen (see page
30),
Mote: You can switch the REC MODE between
SP and IP using the menu screen (see page 30).
