Activating Special Effects Recording
Place the camcorder in the record pause mode.
2 Press the EFFECT button to select the special
effects record mode yon want.
"16X9": 16X9 Mode
The picture £o.rm,at can be switched from. 4:3 (the
picture format of an ordinary TV set) to 16x9. The
top and bottom of the picture in the view-finder or
on the LCD monitor become black bars.

Normal Mode 16X9 Mode
"iSIEGPOS": islegafive/Positive Mode
The image in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor will become negative.
Negoflve/Po^itive Mode
"MIRROR": Half-mirror Mode
The image in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor will change to a sym.metric image on the left
and right obtained by placing a mirror at the
center of 'the screen.
Normal Mode
"MOSAIC": Mosaic Mode
The im.a,ge in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor will be in mosaic.
"ART": Art Mode
The image in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor w/'ill take on the look of an oil painting.

3 Press the Start/Stop button'to start recording.
* To release special effects recording, repeat¬
edly press the EFFECT button in the record
pause mode until the normal mode is
restored.
