SECTION 4
PATTERN
MEMORY
The pattern memory simulation uses heart rate and uterine
activity data stored in the simulator's internal memory. Thirty
four minutes of typical heart rate and uterine activity patterns
are provided—then the pattern repeats. (Refer to Figures 4-1,
PATTERN
4-2, and 4-3.) Three different heart rate patterns are stored:

one for FECG, one for MECG, and one for US. The

1.
Set the ECG Mode, US Mode, and UA Mede switches as
desired.
Set the Pattern Memory switch to ON.
The positions of
the Level switches are ignored.
NOTE: To restart the pattern from the beginning, at any
time, turn the Model 325 Simulator off then on again.
3.
Tum on the maternal/fetal monitor's recorder.
