Liquid Damage
Moisture and liquid can damage your cordless phone. In case of accidental submersion, please read the
following steps.
Case
If the handset or base is exposed to
moisture or liquid, but only affects
the exterior plastic housing.
If moisture or liquid has entered the
plastic-housing (i.e. liquid can be
heard in the phone or liquid has
entered the battery compartment).
If the base unit or the handset is
submerged or covered in a sticky
substance, such as juice.

A D D I T I O N A L I N F O R M A T I O N
Wipe off the liquid and use as normal.
1. Remove the battery cover of the handset and leave it off for ventilation.
2. Remove the battery pack by disconnecting.
3. Leave the battery cover off and the battery pack disconnected for 3 days for maximum
drying time.
4. Once completely dry, reconnect the battery pack and the battery cover.
5. Recharge the handset's battery pack for 20 hours in the base unit before using the phone.
IMPORTANT: You must unplug the telephone line while recharging the battery pack to
avoid charge interruption.
Handset:
1. Remove the battery cover of the handset and the battery pack by disconnecting.
2. Rinse the handset in warm distilled water.
3. Let dry for at least 3 days.
4. Once completely dry, reconnect the battery pack and the battery cover.
5. Recharge the handset's battery pack for 20 hours in the base unit before using the phone.
Base:
1. Disconnect the AC adapter from the base unit, ending power supply.
2. Disconnect the telephone cord from the base unit.
3. Rinse the base in warm distilled water.
4. Let dry for at least 3 days.
CAUTION:
DO NOT use a microwave oven to speed up the drying time. This will cause permanent
damage to the handset and the microwave oven.
