HOW TO USE THE TONE CONTROL
1, Press the DOOR OPEN switch to reveal the hinged panel.
2. Select
the
channel
you
want
to perform
tone
control
on
(ALL/FRONT/REAR/CENTER) with the TONE switch.
© Channels change to ALL

CENTER
in
sequence each time you press it.
© The lit line under the Tone/Level/Balance meters for each channel
indicates which channel tone control can be performed on.
You can adjust channels indicated with a lit line.
3. Adjust
the
sound
using
the
tone
control
switches
(BASS/MID/TREBLE).
4. Repeat operations 2 and 3 until you reach the overall sound you
want.
NOTE:
© Rear channel tone control is not possible when using DOLBY PRO
LOGIC SURROUND.
© When the surround mode is OFF, rear channel and center channel
tone control is not possible. When the CENTER MONO QUT is ON,
center channel tone control is possible.
HOW TO USE THE ACOUSTIC MEMORY
Use to 5 different tone settings can be memorized.
Memnorized tone settings can be recalled using the ACOUSTIC SELECT
switch.
Setting the Memory
1. Perform desired sound quality adjustments.

2. Press the MEMO switch.
* The ACOUSTIC, SOUND FIELD (ENHANCER) indicators on the
display section blinks on and off.
3. While the indicator is flashing, press the ACOUSTIC
SELECT
switch and select the acoustic memory to which you wish to assign
the setting (A - E).
* When the memory position letter (A - E) stops flashing and lights
up, it is memorized. If a memory position (A - E) is not selected
while the indicator is flashing, no memory position is memorized.

Recalling tone setting in the Acoustic Memory
To recall the memorized tone setting, press the ACOUSTIC SELECT
switch to select the desired memory position.

FLAT: For flat (normal) frequency response.
LOUDNESS: Emphasizes the low- and high-frequency ranges.
Produces
a fuller sense of sound, particutarly when listening at lowwolume.
