RECORDING
RECORDING WITH TAPE 2
1. Select the source you want to record from (TUNER LINE, CD, or
PHONO) with the INPUT SELECTOR switches.
© Be sure the TAPE 2 MONITOR switch is OFF.
. Load the TAPE 2 cassette deck with a tape for recording.
. Start recording on the TAPE 2 cassette deck.
. Start playback on the source selected with the INPUT SELECTOR
switches.

USING VCR 1, VCR 2 FOR AUDIO RECORDING
The audio signal output from the VCR 1 and VCR 2 AUDIO REC jacks
is the same as that output from the TAPE 1/DAT REC jacks, so you
can record using the same procedure as for recording with TAPE 1/DAT.
When using the REC SELECTOR, do not select the component that you
are using for recording audio on (VCR 1 or VCR 2) with the INPUT
SELECTOR.
COPYING TAPES
The following operations concerns TAPE 1 to TAPE 2 copying. TAPE
2 to TAPE 1 copying is not possible.
1. Press the TAPE 1/DAT INPUT SELECTOR switch.
© If the TAPE 2 MONITOR switch is ON, press to turn it OFF.
2. Load the TAPE 1/DAT cassette deck (or DAT deck) with a tape
to play back.
3. Load the TAPE 2 cassette deck with a tape to record to.
4. Start recording on the TAPE 2 cassette deck.
5. Start playback on the TAPE 1/DAT cassette deck (or DAT deck).
Tape monitoring
When
recording
is performed
on a cassette
deck equipped
with
monitoring function, the recorded sound can be monitored through the
speaker system by pressing the TAPE 2 MONITOR switch to ON.
