How to Define the Model Suffix (NTSC or PAL model)

There are eight kinds of DMC-FX40/FX48, regardless of the colours.
• a) DMC-FX40 (Japan domestic model), DMC-FX40SG
• b) DMC-FX48P/PC
• c) DMC-FX40EB/EF/EG/EP
• d) DMC-FX40EE
• e) DMC-FX48GT
• f) DMC-FX48GK
• g) DMC-FX48GD
• h) DMC-FX48PU/GC/GH/GJ
What is the difference is that the "INITIAL SETTINGS" data which is stored in Flash ROM mounted on MAIN PCB.
3.4.1.
Defining methods:
To define the model suffix to be serviced, refer to the nameplate which is putted on the bottom side of the Unit.
NOTE:
After replacing the MAIN PCB, be sure to achieve adjustment.
The adjustment instruction is available at "software download" on the "Support Information from NWBG/VDBG-AVC" web-site in
"TSN system", together with Maintenance software.
