Notes:
1. The horizontal and vertical resolution will be low-
ered in the electronic zoom and electronic sen-
sitivity up modes.
2. The vertical edge of the fast-moving objects will
appear zigzagged in the electronic zoom mode
because of the read/write time for the picture
memories inside.
3. The Gen-Lock input signal should be specified
as CCIR standard in order to maintain the proper
electronic zoom operation.
Control Mode Selection Switch
(REMOTE/LOCAL)
This switch is used to select the control mode as
follows.
LOCAL:
When the camera is used without the Camera
Control Unit, such as WV-CU204 etc., set this
switch to the LOCAL position before turning on
the camera.
REMOTE:
When the camera is used with the Camera Con-
trol Unit, such as WV-CU204 etc., set this switch
to the REMOTE position before turning on the
camera.
CAUTION:
1. Refer to the operating instruction of the Camera
Control Unit for more details of the REMOTE
control function.

2. Before operating a REMOTE mode, a following
setting up procedure will be required for making
sure the REMOTE operation.
(1) Set the Control Mode Selection Switch (24)
to LOCAL position.
(2) Turn the power on of the camera.
(3) Set the other control switches as desired,
especially for AGC ON/OFF and AWC/ATW.
(4) Turn the power off of the camera.
(5) Set the Control Mode Selection Switch (24)
to REMOTE position.
(6) Install the camera.
Notes:
Even if the Control Mode Selection Switch is
set to REMOTE position, control switches on the
camera, such as Camera Mode Selection Switch
(21), Shutter Speed Selection Switch (22) and
Electronic Zoom ON/OFF Switch (23) etc., are
enabled.
Subcarrier Phase Coarse Switches
(SC, 1/2/3/4)
The subcarrier phase of the camera signal can be
adjusted from 0° to 360° in 90° steps with these
switches, as shown below, for matching the phase
of the subcarrier signal at the Gen-Lock Input con-
nector (9).
