Chapter 1
Introduction
2. It is now necessary to properly set up your Spectrum Bass n to send and receive MIDI information. To do this:
Setting the AUDI Mode
fa Press the button labeled Mode until the Poly LED lights. This puts you into poly mode. The poly mode allows
you to send and receive MIDI data on one channel only.
Setting the MIDI Channel
fa Press and hold the button labeled Channel; while holding this button, press the A or ▼ button until the
MIDI receive channel for the Spectrum Bass II matches the MIDI transmit channel of your keyboard. If in
doubt, try channel 1.
3. Okay. Now it's time to play.
fa Start playingyour keyboard; as you play, turn the Spectrum Bass P's Volume knob clockwise until you reach
the desired volume.
fa The Spectrum Bass IPs display will show the current patch number. To select a different patch, use the A
and ▼ buttons.
