 Cylinders must be replaced in a flame free environment
 Do not smoke while changing the cylinder
 While replacing the empty cylinder, turn the gas off at the valve or regulator and take the
cylinder out of the heater. Remove the regulator from the empty cylinder.
WARNING
 Read the instructions in the manual carefully. it has important information both for
operation use and for your safety.
 Do not use faulty appliances.
 Maintenance and repairs must be carried out by a qualified person only.
 Retain these instructions for future reference. if necessary, a new copy may be obtained
from your dealer.
 After use, turn off the appliance at the regulator switch on valve and the regulator
disconnected from the cylinder.
 The appliance is suitable for 15kg/ 5kg LPG container.
 Do not twist the flexible tube or the hose. The hose should be regular checking for your
safety, replace it if necessary.
 Do not place the heater near walls, curtains or furniture while in operation. always face the
heater towards the center of the room when in use. do not put furniture or other thing in
front of the heater; minimum clearance to combustibles to the rear and sides of the heater
is 1000mm. The dress guard on this appliance conforms to standard requirements; it does
not give full protection for young children or the infirm. the guard is to prevent risk of
inquiry and no part of it should be removed or altered.
 This appliance should be leakage tested before initial use and whenever the cylinder has
been reconnected after filling. never use a naked flame to test for leakage.
 This is a non‐flue heater. ensure the room is ventilated while the heater is in operation. do
not operate in a bedroom, bathroom, caravan, boat, or any room less than 84m
Keep at least 105cm
 This appliance requires a hose and a regulator, check with your gas supplier for the correct
type according to the cylinder being used and any regulations at that time.
 Do not use in vehicles, caravans or auto caravans.
Operate the heater according to following procedures when electric
The electric heating system for SC23QZ‐R is designed to use electric heating as well as gas heating.
Follow the instructions as below when using the Quartz Heating mode.
6. Make sure plug is normally earthed. Put plug in the socket.
7. Press switch ‐ to start the top quartz tube, or
8. Press switch = to start the other two quartz tubes.
9. Press switch ‐ and = to start all 3 quartz tubes.
10. Turn all switch off after use. Remove the plug from the socket.
