NOTE: References to right or left side of the snow thrower are
determined from behind the unit in the operating position (standing
directly behind the snow thrower, facing the handle panel).
remoVing from Carton
1. Cut the corners of the carton and lay the sides flat on the ground.
Remove and discard all packing inserts.
2. Move the snow thrower out of the carton.
3. Make certain the carton has been completely emptied before
discarding it.

assembLy

Positioning the Upper Handle
1. Pivot the upper handle into the operating position making sure not
to pinch the cable in the process, as illustrated in Figure 1, until it
clicks into place.

ASSEMBLY
2. Tighten the wing knobs to secure the handle in place.
See Figure 2.
3. Loosely attach the eyebolt and plastic wing nut (found in the manual
bag) to the handle See. Figure 3. Pull the recoil starter handle out
and thread the rope through the eye bolt. Tighten the wing nut to
secure the eyebolt in place.
