Load a prerecorded
tape:
(When loading a cassette tape without the erase
prevention tab, playback wiJI start automatically).
To start playback:
Press PLAY on the iront panel or on
the remote.
Playback will start, " I_ " wilt appear
on the screen for about 4 seconds,

To stop playback:
Press STOP!EJECT once on the front
panel or press STOP en the remote.
The tape will stop but remain fully
loaded and ready toplay.

Preparation:
• Press TV/VCR to select the TVNCR mode,
Stop the playback or recording with STOP.
To rewind
the tape:
Press REW on the front panel or press
REV on the remote.

To forward the tape:
Press FF on the front panel or press
FWD on the remote.

To stop the tape-winding, press STOP. To switch to play-
back directly (without STOP), press PLAY.

picture search
mode
When the tape is being winded, you can switch to picture
search mode (see next page). To do this, press REV or
FWD again and hold it down. The unit will resume
the
tape winding
as soon as the button is re,eased.
Notes:
• ff you play a prerecorded
tape after the DVD playback, you
must set the unit to TVNCR
mode using the TVNCR
button.
• This unit selects the playback tape speed $P or SLP auto-
matically.
• When you select the TV/VCR mode dudng DVD playback, DVD
playback will change to the still mode, and after 5 minutes it
will cha#ge to the resuming playback mode automatieafiy.
