Manual operaiion
lf the electrical drive
mechanism should fail,
the roof can
be closed
manually. The
motor
for
electrical operation is located
at the lelt
sidewall of the
luggage compartment,
be_
hind the
carpeting.
1.
Remove the clips from the carpet
and
fold
back the
carpet.
2.
Take oIf the
cover from the side
panel.
3.
With the spark plug spanner
turn
the now
visible
hexagon nut
clockwise until
the
the roof
is closed.
4.
Replace cover
for
screw.
Do
not
operate the
rocker switch. Let vour
Porsche dealer take care
of the
necessary
repair.
Do not
leave the
convertible
top
open
over
long
pe
ods
of
time (several days). lf
pos-
sible, close the converltble
top
overnight,
as this protects
the
material and the
rear
