Operation

Control Operation
Parking Brake Operation
The parking brake (A, Figure 5) prevents the unit from
unwanted movement.
To engage:
Fully press the parking brake (A, Figure 5) and parking
brake lock (B) together, then slowly release both.
To disengage:
Fully press the parking brake (A, Figure 5) only, then
slowly release. The parking brake lock (B) is spring-
loaded and will automatically unlock the parking brake.
NOTICE 
The parking brake can also be used as an emergency
brake. Use only the parking brake (A) when in motion. Do
not engage the parking brake lock (B) until movement has
stopped.

Ground Speed Control Lever Operation
The ground speed control levers (A, Figure 6) control the
ground speed and direction of the unit.

B - START / PARK - Move the levers completely out.
C - Neutral ('N') (shown) - Move the levers completely in.
D - Forward Ground Speed - Move the levers forward from
the Neutral ('N') position.
E - Reverse Ground Speed - Move the levers back from the
Neutral ('N') position.

detailed instructions on how to use the ground speed control
levers to drive the unit.

PTO Switch Operation
The PTO Switch (A, Figure 7) engages (turns on) and
disengages (turns off) the mower blades.
To disengage (turn off) the mower blades, push down
on the switch (B).
To engage (turn on) the mower blades, pull up on the
switch (C).
