WARNING 
Read, understand, and obey all the instructions and warnings
in the Operator's Manual and all other associated manuals, as
well as on the machine, battery, and attachments, before you
operate this machine. Failure to obey the safety instructions
in this manual and all other manuals and on the equipment
could result in death or serious injury.
Only let operators who are responsible, trained and
familiar with the instructions and physically capable to
operate the machine.
Do not operate the machine while under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.
Wear safety glasses and closed toe footwear.
Do not put hands or feet near rotating parts or under
the machine. Keep clear of the discharge opening at all
times.
Keep the machine in good working order. Replace worn
or damaged parts.
Be careful when you service the blades. Wrap the
blades or wear gloves. Replace damaged blades. Do
not repair or alter the blades.
Use full width ramps when you load and unload a
machine for transport.
See attachment or accessory for proper wheel weights
or counterweights.
Keep machine free of grass, leaves, or other unwanted
material.
Battery Warnings
WARNING 
Use and keep the battery in an area with good airflow,
away from sparks, open flames, or excessive heat.
WARNING 
Do not use the equipment if the battery is
submerged in water or water goes into the battery or
connectors. Contact an Authorized Battery Service
Dealer for instructions.
WARNING 
Electrolytes from the battery can cause blindness and
burns. DO NOT use the battery if there is damage,
leakage or burns. DO NOT use the battery if you hear
unusual noises, see smoke, or smell odors. DO NOT use
the battery if the casing is cracked, gashed, bulging,
warped, or damaged.
Slope Identification Guide
WARNING 
Do not operate on slopes greater than 10 degrees.
You can measure the slope of a lawn surface with a
smartphone (B, Figure 3) or an angle finder tool (C and D).

Smartphone: Many smartphones (B) have an
inclinometer located under the compass application
(app). You can also search an app store for an
inclinometer app.
Angle finder tools: Angle finder tools are available at
local hardware stores or online. Angle finder tool(s) are
also known as inclinometers, protractors, angle meters,
or angle gauges. You can use dial type (C) or digital
type (D) angle finder tools. Always read and obey the
user instructions supplied with the angler finder tool.
