DIGIT AL ELECTRIC CLOCK
Push and turn the reset knob to reset the
time when the ignition switch is in the ACC
or
ON
position.
RESET:
To clear m inutes, push the knob.
When you release this knob, the
clock will be set precisely on the
hour.
If the knob is pushed while the time
is between 9:01 and 9:29 , the d is-
play will be reset to 9:00. If pushed
whil e it is between 9:30 and 9:59,
the d isplay will be reset to
10:00.
9:01 ~9:29-9:00
9:30~ 9:59-> 10:00
Th is proced ure is useful when you
want to set the clock, for example,
agai nst a radio b roadcast time
signal.
HOUR:
To change hour digits, turn the
knob countercl ockwise.
MIN: To change minute digits, turn the
knob clockwise.

CIGARETTE LIGHTER
To operate the c igarette lighter, simply press
it in. When it is heated, it automatically pops
out ready
for
use. lf th e engine is not run-
ning the key must be in the ACC position for
the lig hter to operate.
WARNING!
• Do not hold the lighter in as it wi ll
overheat.
• On ly
a
genuine M azd a lighter
or
equ iva-
lent should be used in the c igarette ligh-
ter socket. The use of plug-in accessories
(shavers and coffeepots, etc.) may dam-
age the socket and cause electrical
fail ure .
CAUTION
If the lighter does
not pop out withi n 30 sec-
onds, remove it to prevent overheating.
