HEADLIGHT WASHER
(if
equipped)
The headlight
washer
can only
be
used
with
the
headlights
in
the open
position.
With the
ignition
switch
in
the
ON
position,
push
th
e retractable
headlights
switch
in,
as
illustrated below. Washer
fluid
wi
ll
be
sprayed onto
the
headlights
until
th
e switch
is
released.
CAUTION
Do not operate the
headlight
washer for
more
than
ten seconds
at
a time.
INSTRUMENT PANEL
ILLUMINATION CONTROL
Rotate the
small
dial
to
adjust
the
instrument
panel
illumination light brightness
as
illustrat-
ed below.

REAR DEFROSTER
Th
is
defroster clears frost, fog,
or
th
in ice
from the interior and
exterior
of th
e rear
window.
Start
the engine
before operating
the
defroster and
if
there
is
a
heavy
accumula-
tion of
snow on
the
rear
window,
brush
it
off.
Depress
the
switcl1
to operate rear wi ndow
defroster.
CAUTION
To
prevent damage
to the conductors,
which
are
bonded
to
the
inside
surface of the rear
window,
never
use
sharp instruments or
win-
dow cleaners containing abrasives to clean
th
e
inside
of
the rear
window.
