This unit has a built-in Dolby Digital/DTS decoder, so you can enjoy powerful surround
sound with the following connections.

elf you have not connected a subwoofer, you should connect front speakers that are capa-
ble of producing bass under 100 Hz if possible.
2 Adjust the settings to suit the speakers you have connected (= page 38,
"Speaker settings").
Turn V.S.S. off. Sound will come from only the front speakers if V.S.S. is on (= page 25).
