Seled to trigger tile flash (optional) automatically. Tile flash goes off
prematurely to reduce lhe red-eye phenomenon.
O Note
• DCR-I IC40:
Iflhe flash is not capable of preventing the red-eye phenomenon, you can select only ]ON]
or ]AUTO].
FLASHLEVEL
You can select an 3ppropri3te flash selring for recording with an external flash
(optional).
HIGH (_+)
SeleO to make the flash level higher fl/an tile standard se_ting.
E>NORMAL ( _ ) Standard setting.
LOW ( 5- ) SeleO to make file flash level lower than the standard sening.
O Note
• The setting returns to ]NORMAL] when you disconnect the power source |?ore your
camcorder for more fllan 5 minutes.
