Troubleshooting
If you run into any problem using your
camcorder, use the following table to
troubleshoot the problem, if the problem
persists, remove the power source and
contact your Sony dealer.
if"C:[S][S]:vl[S]" is displayed on the LCD
screen or the viewfinder, the self-diagnosis
display function is activated. See page 120
for details.

The power does noi turn on. * The battery pack is discharged, running low, or not altached to the
camcorder.

The camcorder does ilO[ operate even -)Disconnect the AC Ad_plor from the wall outlei or remove the baltery
when the power is set to on. pack, then reconnect it alter about 1 minute. If the |hnctions still do not
work, press _he RESET button using a sharp-pointed object. (If you press
the RESET button, all settings including the clock se_ting _re reset,
except Personal Menu items.)

The camcorder gets warm. * This is because lhe power has been turned on for a long time. This is not
a malfunction.
