Monitoring Function Using a Graphic (Part Drawing) Display
(1) Kinds of monitoring functions
Three kinds of monitoring functions are used to display a figure (part

drawing).
(a) Part drawing display
This function displays a specified part drawing in a fixed position.
(b) Part drawing locus display
This function leaves a locus behind and moves and displays the part
drawing.
(The specified part drawing is displayed at a specified position
without erasing the part drawing previously displayed.)
(c) Part drawing movement display
This function moves and displays the part drawing.
(Specified part drawings are displayed at a specified position after

erasing the previous part drawing.)

Kind of part drawing display
Part drawings displayed by the above function can be set as follows by
the part drawing display switching setting in the Set part (Display, Locus,
Movement) window.
(a) Fixed
One kind of part drawing can be displayed.
(b) Bit device
Max. of two part drawings can be displayed.
(c) Word device
Max. of eight part drawings can be displayed.
The word device of the PC CPU and the buffer of a special-function

module can be specified as word devices.
