Before you begin...
• Connect Camcorder to power source.
• Set POWER to CAMERA.
Camcorderautomatically focuses on subjectevenduring zooming.
Auto Focusis on when"MF" is notdisplayedin EVF or LCD monitor.
Press MANUALFOCUSto remove°MF"in EVFor LCD monitorif necessary.
UseManualFocus(MF) when :
• recording t hroughglass.
• lighting is poor.
• subjectisfar awaywithobjectsin foreground. EVFor LCDMonitor
• subjectis not centered in EVFor LeD monitor. MF
• subjecthasa shinysurface.
• subject i sslanted.
• subjectisbright a ndflat,likea white waU.
• subjecthasfast motion, likea golfswing.

Press MANUAL FOCUS so "MF" (Manual
Focus) appears in EVF or LCD monitor.
Hold down "T" ffelephot¢) on POWER
ZOOM to maximumzoomin.
Press _ or DOWN • !NEAR)
until subject is in focus.
• Back away from subject if necessary.
Hold down "W" Iwide angl_e)on POWER
ZOOM as desired.
• Refocusas needed
whenaiming at new scenes.
