What is an Electrostatic Tweeter?
An electrostatic tweeter is a speaker in
which electrostatic force is used to drive the
diaphragm. Because the diaphragm is
extremely light, with a weight of only 1/10
that of air (approximately 1/100 that of a
normal speaker), and vibrates in response
to a very small amount of force, it is capable
of faithfully reproducing the fine audio
nuances of instruments and vocals.
In addition, because the entire surface
vibrates as a unit, it is capable of producing
natural sound with little distortion.
What is a Motional Feedback (MFB)

This feature faithfully reproduces the
original sound by comparing the actual
speaker vibrations with the signal being
input to the built-in power amplifier and
boosting the sound where necessary.

Because the compensation signal is fed back
immediately, compensation for the speaker
motion can be provided in real time for all
practical purposes.
Because MFB provides flat response for low
band frequency characteristics at around 40
Hz, it allows you to enjoy your music with
full bass reproduction.
In addition, because this system has low
distortion worthy of speakers four or five
times larger, and reproduces power worthy
of speakers with magnets four times bigger,
you can listen to a broad range of music
without taxing the system.
