| FCC and Other Information
Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This
equipment generates, uses, and
can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions,
may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this
equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined
by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to
correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
—Reorient or relocate the receiving
antenna.
—Increase the separation between
the equipment and receiver.
—Connect the equipment into an
outlet on a circuit different from
that to which the receiver is
connected.
—Consult the dealer or an
experienced radio/TV technician
for help.
• Environment
—do not place the
unit in a room where the
temperature is less than 5°C
(41 °F) or greater than 40°C
(104°F). Allow 10 cm (4*)
clearance around the unit for
proper ventilation. Avoid
excessive smoke, dust,
mechanical vibration, shock, or
direct sunlight.
•Routine care
—wipe the unit with
a soft cloth. Do not use benzine,
thinner, or any abrasive powder.
When you leave the unit unused
for long period of time, unplug the
AC adaptor from the outlet.
•If there is any trouble—
disconnect the unit from the
telephone line and connect a
known working phone. If the
known working phone operates
properly, have your unit repaired
by one of the authorized
Panasonic Factory Service
Centers. If the known working
phone does not operate properly,
consult with your telephone
company.
