Lockdown Mode
Use this feature to disable or enable Lockdown Mode. Lockdown Mode prevents existing data
or keys stored in the system from being altered or changed to preserve system integrity and
security. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
Supermicro Security Erase Configuration
Note: This submenu becomes configurable when a storage device has been plugged
into the motherboard. The features displayed in this section will change depending on
what storage devices are detected.
The following information is displayed:

HDD Name
•
HDD Serial Number
•
Security Mode
•
TCG Device Type
•
Estimated Time
•
Admin Pwd Status
•
Security Function
Note: Use this feature to secure erase the storage device or set a password for secure
erasing this storage device. The options are Disable, Set Password, Security Erase
– Password, and Security Erase – PSID.

Password
Note: Use this feature to set the user password.
HDD Security Configuration (Available for configuration if a drive is detected)
You can set a password to protect the drive.
