► Position the control handle (8) on the handle‐
bar (2), trigger facing the gear housing, and
line up the hole in the control handle with the
hole in the handlebar.
When doing so, do not twist the operating han‐
dle (8).
► Fit the nut (7).
► Insert and tighten down the screw (6) firmly.
It is not necessary to remove the bike handle
again.
8.2 Mounting and Removing the
Deflector
8.2.1 Attaching the deflector
► Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.

► Push the deflector (1) into the guides on the
gear housing up to the limit stop.
► Insert the screws (2) and tighten them
securely.
8.2.2 Removing the Deflector
► Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.

► Unscrew the screws (2).
► Pull off the deflector (1).
8.3 Fitting and Removing the Skirt
8.3.1 Attaching the skirt
► Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.

► Slide the guide slot in the skirt (2) onto the uni‐
versal deflector (1) – it must snap audibly into
position.
8.3.2 Removing the Skirt
► Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.
► Insert the stop pin (2) into the hole in the skirt
(1).
► Remove the skirt (1) with the stop pin (2).
The line limiting blade (1) can be left on the skirt.
8.4 Mounting and Removing the
Mowing Head
8.4.1 Mounting the mowing head
► Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.
► Place the thrust plate (2) on the shaft (3) so
that its smaller diameter faces up.
► Fit the mowing head (1) on the shaft (3) and
turn it counterclockwise by hand.
► Insert the stop pin (4) in the bore up to the limit
stop and hold it depressed.
