Memory
hone Book/Fixed Dial Memory
Telephone numbers are stored on your SIM. Therefore, the number of locations,
length of name tag and number of telephone numbers that can be stored are
dependant on your SIM.
There are two types of memory:
PHONE BOOK: Stores frequently dialled numbers with a name tag so that telephone
numbers can be recalled quickly. Only available when "Fixed Dial" is off — see page 22.
FIXED DIAL: Calls can only be made from Fixed Dial Memory if the security function
"Fixed Dial" is on — see page 22. When Fixed Dial is on calls cannot be made
manually or from Phone Book. Fixed Dial telephone numbers cannot be edited before
they are dialled but wild numbers can be used.
Wild Numbers
Wild numbers, or spaces, can be stored in a telephone number and filled in when the
telephone number is recalled from memory. In this way a call can be restricted to a
specific area. The spaces can be anywhere within a stored telephone number.
