5. Clean exteriors of the generator and apply a
rust inhibitor.
6. Store the generator in a dry, well-ventilated
place, with the cover placed over it.
7. Pull the starter rope, and when you feel
resistance place the pulley with the red mark
facing upward. This prevents the cylinder and
valves from rusting.
