Remove the spark plug and remove the car¬
bon from the electrodes.
• Check for discoloration.
.-NOTE: ---
Normally, the electrodes should show a tan col¬
or. If sooty
or burnt white, consult
your dealer.
• Check the spark plug gap.
NOTE:-
The correct spark
plug gap
is 0.6
- 0.7 mm
{0.024" — 0.028").
• The spark plug designation is:
NGK: BP-6HS
CHAMPION: L-87Y
