FADE-OUT [—]:
Can be used during normal play, program play, or random play.

Press AUTO
FADER OUT button @.
Fade-out will begin; when it is completed (no sound), the play-
er will enter the pause mode.
FADE-IN [+]:
Can be used from the pause mode, including pause during the pro-
gram play and random play modes.
@ Press AUTO FADER IN button @.
Pause
will be released and fade-in will begin until sound level
is at the set volume.
NOTE:
Fade in/aut cannot be used during time-fade play.
WHAT IS FADE IN/OUT?
Fade-in
: Playback begins with sound at an imperceptible level

Fade-out

FADE-OUT: Set at 2 seconds.
The length of time required to fade in/out during use of the time-
fade-edit and auto fade functions can be set between 0 and 9

conds. When set, all fade functions will operate at the set dime,

to a default value of 5 seconds.
TO SET VARIABLE FADE TIME:
1.
With
the unit in the stop mode,
press
AUTO
FADER IN or OUT button @.

Use the number buttons to select the desired time.

NOTE:
The time setting for fade in/out during hi-lite scan cannot be
changed.
