VARIOUS OPERATIONS
To begin playback from a particular track

® To select from tracks 1—20, press the appropriate number.
To select from tracks 21 and above, use {>20] button ©.
Track 26 can also be selected by pressing {> 20] followed by
[2] and [6].
NOTE:
Make your selections within five seconds.
During playback of one track, to advance
immediately to the next track (track search)
TRACK SEARCH
® When [PP] button © is pressed, playback will be advanced to
the next track. By holding the button depressed, playback will
continue to advance to further tracks in order.
@ When [ Kt4] button © is pressed, playback will return to the be-
ginning of the currently playing track. By holding the button
depressed, playback will be returned to the beginning of earlier
tracks, in decreasing order.
To start fast forward or fast reverse during
playback {manual search}

® The playback will be fast forwarded so long as [PP | button @
is held depressed.
Fast reverse will continue so long as [44]
button @ is held depressed.
To advance (return) to the next (previous) index
number

Index numbers are special signals pre-recorded on tracks to indi-
cate further subdivision of the tracks. Not all dises are recorded
with index numbers; those so recorded will be indicated by the word
"INDEX" in the album notes.
