@ Displaying station names
Station names composed of up to four digits of charactrers and/or symbols can be displayed on the tuner display.
Example:
To receive FM 98.80 MHz, input its name with characters "CBE", and preset them under numeric key [3].
1 Receive FM 98.80 MHz, and enter the character input mode.

2 Select the characters to be displayed with that station.
® Display the desired character.

After having pressed the CHARACTER
key, press the TUNING key to display
the characters availabie.

@ Establish the selection.
DIGIT
Blinking digit change to the next digit.
Biank position
® Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all of the required characters have
been input.
@ To select 'C', press the UP segment three times.
@ To insert a space, simply press the DIGIT key.
3 End the character input.

The character input also terminates automatically when fourth character has been input.

Press the CHARACTER key to terminate character input with three characters or less.
4 Preset them under key| 3 |.
@® Press the MEMORY key.
@® Press numeric key/3 |.
