Save Options Into NObvolatile Options
Restore Into Nonvolatile Options

Receiving the sequence ESCQ causes the current options to
be saved into nonvolatile options.
Receiving the sequence ESCR
causes the nonvolatile options to be restored into the current
volatile options.
When the nonvolatile options are restored»
the screen is blanked of all data» the scrolling region is reset
to lines 1 and 24» the insert mode is turned off» and the screen
labels are unchanged. All restored options are immediately
effective.
An
ESCR must be followed by a short period of idle
line (approximately two msec) to prevent data loss.
ESCc Device Reset
Receiving the sequence ESCc causes the terminal to reset.
The terminal will be set to power on conditions using the cur-
rent volatile options» the screen will be cleared» and the Sys
Fkey labels and strings set to their default values.
In the interactive state» no scrolling region is defined»
Origin mode is off» characters have normal attributes» Gl and GO
are the US character set» and GO is active.
Also, cursor save
is cleared» the cursor is homed» print on-line is off, Insert
mode is off, the cursor is visible» and the screen is unblanked.
The User Fkey labels are displayed if the labels option is on.
Repetitive Para.eter Escape Sequences
The following escape sequences provide for mUltiple func-
tions based on the pn value.
If no pn value or 0 is entered, a
single function will be performed; otherwise, the function will
be performed pn times (example:
ESC[5@ will cause five charac-
ter inserts to be performed).
