2.4 Memory Support and Installation

Note: Check the Supermicro website for recommended memory modules.
Important: Exercise extreme care when installing or removing memory modules to
prevent any possible damage.
Memory Support
This motherboard supports up to 8TB RDIMM DDR5 (288-pin) ECC memory with speeds
up to 4800MT/s in 16 DIMM slots and 4400MT/s in 32 DIMM slots. (See the Note below).
Note: Memory speed and capacity support depend on the processors used in the
system.
DDR5 Memory Support for 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors
For your system memory to work properly, please follow the memory population tables below
to install the memory modules on your motherboard. These memory population tables were
created based on the general memory population guidelines provided by Intel to support
Supermicro X13DP motherboards.
