Cleaning and Adjusting the Spark Plug
In order for the engine to develop full power, the spark plug electrodes
must be free of carbon deposits and the plug gap properly set.
1. Remove the rear cover. Remove the spark plug with the plug wrench.
2. Use a wire brush or a wire to remove the carbon deposits from the
electrodes. Exercise care not to damage the electrodes or scratch the
insulator.
3. Adjust the spark plug gap to 0.4mm (0.016
in.).

Reinigen und Einstellen der Zündkerze
Um volle Motorleistung zu erzielen, dürfen die Zündkerzenelektroden nicht durch Kohlenstoffablagerungen
verschmutzt sein, außerdem muß der Elektrodenabstand richtig eingestellt werden.
1) Entfernen Sie die Zündkerze mit Hilfe des Zündkerzenschlüssels.
2) Verwenden Sie eine Drahtbürste oder einen Draht, um Kohlenstoffablagerungen von den Elektroden zu
entfernen. Achten Sie darauf, die Elektroden nicht zu beschádigen oder den Kerzenstein zu zerkratzen.
3) Stellen Sie denElektrodenabstand auf 0,4 mm ein.
