The list of test functions will automatically be printed when this test is com-
pleted. If you have a single-drive system, you are now ready to Exit, as explained
below. If you have a dual-drive system, you may perform "Switch" to test the
second drive, or you may Exit and test the second drive later. If you have two
drives, we recommend that you test it now.
Switch
First time through "Diagnostic"?
You should now have completely tested
SY~:
by
performing the "Drive Speed," "General Check-
out," "Media Check" and "Seek Time" tests,
before switching to SY1:. If you have only a
single-drive system, you now perform "Exit."
This procedure will allow you to select SYl: in order to run it through the
complete "Diagnostic."
Exit

Type U and a carriage return.
TEST will restart itself from step three of the main section,
where it identifies itself, prints a message, and asks if you wish
to proceed. You may use each test procedure as before, except
that you should type
1,
when asked which drive you wish to
test. Note that executing the ''Switch'' procedure will allow you
to swap back and forth between the two drive indefinitely as
long as you wish to test them.

Type E and a carriage return.
You will b'e instructed to install a bootable disk in SYf. This
refers to your distribution diskette; or, if you have performed
"System Generation," this means your system volume.

Install the diskette and press the carriage return.
You are now ready to perform the "Bootstrap" again to get back into the HDOS
command mode. If this is your first time through the "System Set-Up Proce-
dure," you may then perform "System Generation."
