Specifying Frequency
I. Press f
Freq
) to enter the nominal filter frequency.
2- Press RIJG: n.nnnMHz to specify the range in which to search for
the bandwidth.
Note
njl
The search range must be larger than the bandwidth. If a range
^
smaller than the bandwidth is specified, Search Fail appears to
indicate that the attempt to search for the bandwidth failed.
Specifying Bandwidth
1. Use
or f«=dl) to display xdB: -n.nn dB . (n.nrm shows the
current setting.)
2. Press xdB: -n.nn dB to enter the desired bandwidth.
Selecting Constant or Minimum Loss
P Use rfFT) or {<={[) display LOSS:nnnn . (nnnn shows the current
setting.)
2. Press LOSS:nnnn to display the following:
Loss Type: Const Min
3. Select Const for constant loss or Min for minimum loss.
Displaying Measurement Results
1. Sequentially press
((blue)
] and (i
(Status)
]. At this time, the status
information disappears. Instead, measurement results are
displayed.
2. Sequentially press
((blue)]
and
(i (Status))
once again to display the
status information again.
Limit Tests
You can set 3 limits for filter measurement mode. In each of the
primary and secondary parameter limit tests, the AFl and AFr values
are checked against the limit. In the tertiary parameter limit test, the
BW value is checked against the limit.
Primary and Secondary Parameters
Steps to specify the primary and secondary parameters are described
later in "Handler Interface (Built-in Comparator Function; HP E4916A
Only)".
Tertiary Parameter
You can specify a limit for the BW value.
1. Sequentially press (
(blue)
] and
(m/k (Comprtr)).
2- Use QF0 or GEJQ to display ||^|||!B|(||.
3* Press A BW_H:n.nn Hz to enter the upper limit for the bandwidth.
