2 Notes
2.1 Safety
1. Do not disassemble or open IAQ Multi-sensor. This creates a risk of electrical shock and when connected to
power and immediately voids your warranty.
2. IAQ Multi-sensor is designed for commercial settings, indoors and in a dry location. Avoid contact with
liquids. Do not submerge IAQ Multi-sensor in liquid or attempt to clean it with liquids or solvents. To clean
IAQ Multi-sensor, disconnect from the power outlet and use a damp towel.
3. Do not insert objects in the openings or ventilation holes.
4. Maintain at least a 2-inch clearance for each vent hole when mounted near walls or any objects.
5. Do not replace the IAQ Multi-sensor battery, contact Siemens or authorized service provider to replace the
battery. Improper replacement or repair may damage the battery, cause overheating or injury. Properly
dispose or recycle the battery that must be recycled separately from household waste. Never incinerate the
battery.

2.2 Display colors

Note:
* To power on the sensor module, connect it to a surface mount powered by USB type C, PoE, or
AC/DC 12...24 V.

2.3 Power button

The power button turns power on/off the device.
Press the button for 3 s to power on
Press the button for 5 s to power off
