OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT
* A digital input should be connected to the components such
as LD player or DVD, etc. capable of outputing Dolby AC-3,
PCM or RF format digital signals.
«When making
the COAXIAL DIGITAL connection, be sure to
use a 75Q COAXIAL cord, not a conventional AUDIO cord.
¢ For details, refer to the operating instructions of the
component connected.
CONNECTING SYSTEM CONTROL
Sherwood component
with DIGI LINK II or Ill
CD player
Tape deck
Graphic equalizer
DIGHLINK
* Connect this jack to the DIGI LINK jack of the external
Sherwood component that uses the DIGI LINK {! or Ill remote
control system.
@ CONNECTING SPEAKERS

Front left

Front right
Rear right
Rear left
* Never short circuit the + and — speaker cords.
* Be sure to connect speakers firmly and correctly
according to the channel (left and right) and the polarity
(+ and -).

¢ Be sure to use the speakers with the impedance of over
8Q.
¢ Always connect both rear speakers.
¢ For installing the speakers, refer to "Speaker placement"
on page 13.
