11. Remove the
power button board
Steps
1. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
a) Power adapter port cable [1].
b) Power cable [2].
c) IO board cable [3].
d) Touchpad cable [4].
e) Keyboard cable [5].
f) Speaker cable [6].
2. Remove the single (M2x4) screw that secures the system board to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [1].
3. Lift the system board off the palmrest and keyboard assembly [2].
