Problem
Condensate is escaping
from an unexpected
location.
The efficiency of the
tumble dryer decreases.
Possible cause and remedy
The drain is dirty.
Inspect the drain and remove any soiling if necessary.
The drain can be accessed via the rear service panel in
the floor area.
The fluff filter in the tumble dryer is dirty.
Check the fluff filter in the tumble dryer for soiling and
clean it if necessary.
The heat exchangers in the heat-pump are dirty.
Clean the heat exchangers (e.g. with a vacuum cleaner).
The connection between the tumble dryer and the heat-
pump unit is leaking.
Check whether the connection between the tumble dryer
and the heat-pump unit is leakproof.
Call Service, if necessary.
Insufficient ventilation
Ensure that the air intake to the heat-pump and the
ventilation openings are not sealed or blocked by
objects.
Room temperature too high (>45 °C)
Ensure adequate ventilation of the installation site.
If necessary, connect the tumble dryer to external
ducting with a fresh air supply.
The heat-pump dryer is designed for a room temperature of
up to 40 °C. Trouble-free operation above this temperature is
sometimes possible. If the temperatures are constantly
above 45 °C, an external cool air supply must be provided.
You can reduce the wear and tear sustained by the heat-
pump dryer by ensuring that the heat exchangers are always
free from fluff and other soiling.
