10.5 Setting a programme
The appliance selects the optimal type of heating, tem-
perature and cooking time. All you need to do is set
the weight.
Notes
¡ You can set the weight only in the intended area.
¡ After the programme starts, you can no longer
change the programme and the weight.
Use the function selector to set Programme  ​ ⁠ .

To call up the programme's cooking time, press

​ ⁠   button. The cooking time cannot be
changed.
11  Childproof lock
You can secure your appliance to prevent children
from accidentally switching it on or changing the set-
tings.
Note: You can go to the basic settings → Page 20 to
specify whether you want the option to set the child-
proof lock.
12  Rapid heating
To save time, rapid heating can shorten the preheating
time for set temperatures over 100 °C.
Rapid heating is possible for the following types of
heating:
¡ 3D hot air  ​ ⁠
¡ Top/bottom heating  ​ ⁠
12.1 Setting rapid heating
To ensure an even cooking result, do not place the
food in the cooking compartment until rapid heating
has come to an end.
Note: Do not set a cooking time until rapid heating has
come to an end.
13  Sabbath mode
You can set a time of over 70 hours using Sabbath
mode. You can use Top/bottom heating to keep food
warm between 85 °C and 140 °C during this time
without having to switch the appliance on or off.
13.1 Starting Sabbath mode
Notes
¡ If you open the appliance door during operation, the
appliance stops heating. When you close the appli-
ance door, the appliance continues to heat again.

To activate the childproof lock, press and hold the

To deactivate the childproof lock, press and hold

Set a suitable type of heating and a temperature of

Rapid heating automatically switches off at temper-
atures of 200 °C and above.
