PROBLEM
System won't run.
System cycles rapidly
when first started after
shutdown.
System shuts itself down
when running.

TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

CAUSE
No power.
System aborted, and:
Overrun indicator
flashing on
either channel.
Underrun indicator
flashing on
either channel.
Overrun and underrun indicators
and
flashing alternately on
either channel.
(See also "System shuts itself down
when running," below.)
System pressure not built up yet.
Paint supply tank(s) empty.
No air pressure (or low pressure)
in fluid supply tanks.
Fluid pressure regulator shut off
(or set too low).
Check valve clogged.
Fluid filter element dirty.
Volume counter dirty.
Cable disconnected or broken
between volume counter and
electrical compartment (cycle
count display will show "0000").
TIME LIMIT timer(s) set for too
short a time. Flashing red LED
Clogged spray gun.
SOLUTION
Turn ON/OFF switch ON.
Be sure main electrical disconnect
switch is closed.
Check fuses.
Push STOP, then START. If prob-
lem reoccurs: set tolerance one digit
higher; or, check for valve or tube
leakage, and repair.
Push STOP, then START. If prob-
lem reoccurs: adjust underrun timer
to a larger number; or, check for air
leaks in lines between air flow switch
and gun, and repair.
1. Check volume counter cable for
that channel. Replace if defec-
tive.
2. Check ratio setting. If over 200
total (A + B), reset.
3. Check for valve seat leakage.
4. Check for fluid leak between vol-
ume counter and valve.
5. Replace volume counter.
Normal.
Refill supply tank(s). Bleed air from
lines.
Increase air pressure, or check the
valves and regulators in supply lines.
Adjust regulator.
Remove and clean.
Remove and clean.
Remove and clean.
Reconnect, or replace cable.
Change setting.
.
Unclog. To restart, press STOP,
then START.
