WARNING!

Always fully apply the parking brake when
leaving your vehicle, or it may roll and cause
damage or injury. Also be certain to leave the
transmission in PARK. Failure to do so may
allow the vehicle to roll and cause damage or
injury.
WARNING!
Driving the vehicle with the parking brake
engaged, or repeated use of the parking brake
to slow the vehicle, may cause serious damage
to the brake system. Be sure the parking brake
is fully disengaged before driving; failure to do
so can lead to brake failure and a collision.
CAUTION!
If the Brake System Warning Light remains on
with the parking brake released, a brake system
malfunction is indicated. Have the brake system
serviced by an authorized dealer immediately.

PERFORMANCE FEATURES
ALFA DNA SYSTEM
This vehicle is equipped with an Alfa DNA system
selector (located on the center console). There
are four modes of operation to be selected
according to driving style and road conditions:

d = Dynamic (sports driving).
•
n = Natural (driving in normal conditions).
•
a = Advanced Efficiency (ECO driving for maxi-
mum fuel savings).
•
RACE = track race driving (if equipped).
•
= Adjusts the calibration of the active sus-
pension (if equipped).
Just rotate the selector to the desired mode to
activate. When the engine is stopped, the selec-
tor will return to "n" Natural Mode.
WARNING!
In Race and Dynamic Mode, the sensitivity of
the accelerator pedal increases considerably.
Consequently, driving is less fluid and comfort-
able. The driver must ensure full control of the
vehicle at all times to avoid a collision.
ALFA ACTIVE SUSPENSION
(AAS) — IF EQUIPPED
Your vehicle has two types of suspension calibra-
tion to choose from: a sportier or a more com-
fortable one.
By pushing the button, the system changes the
shock absorber calibration.
