Ruler Work

Guide the foot along the quilting template (optional) to
create straight, curved or repetitious patterns depending
on the shape of the ruler.
Attach the ruler work foot (QR) when the "Ruler Work" is
displayed as shown.
Refer to page 27 for how to attach the ruler work foot.

Place the fabric under the ruler foot.
Adjust the presser foot height to suite the quilt thickness.
For ordinary and bulky quilts, select "Medium" q.
For flatter quilts, select "Light" w.
You can fine adjust the presser foot height by pressing

the "+" e or "–" r key.
You can also adjust the presser foot height by pressing
the "1.5" icon or "2.5" icon.
Press the setting bar t to open the manual setting
window.
The "1.5" icon y for flatter quilts.
The "2.5" icon u for ordinary and bulky quilts.

Place the quilting template on the edge of the ruler work
foot.
Sew while guiding the fabric and ruler together along the
edge of the ruler foot.
NOTE:
A ruler (quilting template) for ruler work sewing is
required.
Use the ruler (quilting template) for high shank or Long
arm quilting machines (4.5 mm - 6.35 mm thickness).
