10.1
Checking the Controls
Button
► Pull the connecting cable plug out of the
socket.
► Press and release the button.
► If the button is stiff or does not jump back to its
idle position: Do not use the harvester and
contact a STIHL authorized dealer for assis‐
tance.
The button is defective.
Switching on the Harvester
► Plug in the plug of the connecting cable.
► Press and release the button.
The rakes are running.
► If 3 LEDs on the battery flash red: Pull the
connecting cable plug out of the socket and
contact a STIHL authorized dealer for assis‐
tance.
There is an error in the harvester.
► Press and release the button.
The rakes stop running after a brief delay.
► If the rakes continue to run: Pull the connect‐
ing cable plug out of the socket and contact a
STIHL authorized dealer for assistance.
The harvester is defective.
11 Operating the Special Har‐
vester
11.1
Adjusting the shaft length (SPA
140.0)
The shaft can be adjusted to different lengths to
suit the application as well as the user's height
and reach.
► Switch off the harvester and pull the connect‐
ing cable plug out of the socket.
