BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE

Electrical Shock or Personal Injury Hazard
Disconnect the electrical supply before servicing or cleaning the Vacuum Cleaner.
Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury from Vacuum Cleaner suddenly starting.
Review this chart to find do-it-yourself solutions for minor performance problems.
Any service needed, other than those described in these Operating Instructions, should be performed by an authorised
Panasonic service representative.
PROBLEM
Vacuum Cleaner not operate.
Poor job of dirt pick-up.
Vacuum Cleaner stops
during operation.
Supply Cord won't retract
completely.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Unplugged at socket outlet.
1. Full or clogged Cloth Dust Bag.
2. Clogged nozzle.
3. Clogged Hose.
4. Hose not inserted fully.
5. Dirty Filters.
1. Full or clogged Cloth Dust Bag.
2. Clogged nozzle.
3. Clogged Hose.
4. Thermal Protector tripped.
1. Supply Cord has wound onto the
spool unevenly.
2. Supply Cord is twisted.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
1. Plug in firmly, turn on Vacuum Cleaner.
1. Empty the Cloth Dust Bag.
2. Check for clogs.
3. Check for clogs.
4. Check Hose Connection.
5. Clean the Filter.
1. Empty the Cloth Dust Bag.
2. Check for clogs.
3. Check for clogs.
4. Unplug Vacuum Cleaner, allow to cool and
Thermal Protector will reset itself (Wait about 60
minutes).
1. Pull it out two or three meters and wind it up
again.
2. Repeatedly pull out and wind up the Supply
Cord while pressing the Cord Rewind Button
(do not use excessive force when pulling the
Supply Cord out).
