Installation
Mounting the Power Distribution Module in Standard-Depth Rack Enclosures

Using the thumbscrews, attach the PDM Mounting Brackets to
the PDM. The default position to install the thumbscrews is in
the center holes, as shown.
Notes:
• Do not fully tighten thumbscrews at this time.
• For extended runtime applications, attach and secure the external
battery cable and ground wire to the underside of the Bypass Power
Distribution Module battery connector and grounding screw.
Bypass Power Distribution Module Attachment Points – The
tightening torque for the ground screw is 1 n•m (10 lb•in.).

Attach the PDM assembly to the rack's rear rails. The brackets' built-in hooks provide temporary support while securing the PDM to the
rack with the permanent mounting hardware.
Note: PDM Mounting Brackets can be laterally adjusted to ensure a proper connection between the UPS and PDM. To adjust the brackets, loosen the
thumbscrews. Fully extend the PDM to the end of the brackets. Do not tighten screws at this time. Refer to step 4 for more information.
