Restriction on selecting a gear position
You cannot select a gear position under certain circumstances that may lead to a crash.
When the
transmission is in:

1. Under the circumstances
of that:
The brake pedal is not
depressed.
The accelerator pedal is
depressed.
The vehicle is moving at low
speed without the brake pedal
depressed.
The vehicle is moving at low
speed with the accelerator
pedal depressed.
The vehicle is moving forward.
The vehicle is moving backward.
The vehicle is moving.
The READY indicator is not on.
The brake pedal is not
depressed.
2. You cannot select:

Release the accelerator
pedal and depress the
brake pedal.
